damnatio memoriae

It started as a way of talking to a small number of people without an algorithm deciding who hears it. I write these in one sitting, late, usually after a session, when whatever I made is still loud in my head.

The work has always been more than the songs. There is a film, there are clothes, there are objects. This letter is the thread that runs through all of it — the place I explain what I cannot fit into a caption.

No algorithm in between. Just the work, and whoever wants to read it.

If you are reading the printed version: thank you for letting a piece of paper into your home. If you are reading the digital one: forward it to one person who would care. That is the whole plan.
